Michelle E. Hulst is the Chief Operating Officer at The Trade Desk, a technology company that empowers buyers of advertising. She oversees all aspects of The Trade Desk’s operations, including client services, commercial enablement, technical account management, data partnerships and the company’s rapid geographic expansion. She formerly served as group vice president of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at Oracle Data Cloud in San Francisco.
Ms. Hulst joined the BOH board in 2019. Her expertise in digital marketing, strategic growth and developing strong alliances is valuable as the bank continues to evolve and innovate in today's data-driven landscape. Her educational background and professional experience are assets to the board and two of its committees: Human Resources & Compensation and Nominating & Corporate Governance.
Ms. Hulst worked at Datalogix Inc. from 2006 to 2015, having served as senior vice president of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, and led the global deal team's execution of partnerships with companies such as Facebook, Twitter and Google. She also was a member of the executive team that led the sale of Datalogix to Oracle.
Ms. Hulst also worked at Entertainment Publications, an operating business of IAC/InterActiveCorp, holding several positions including vice president.
Ms. Hulst earned a bachelor's degree in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan and her M.B.A. in strategy, marketing and entrepreneurship from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Ms. Hulst has served on the boards of Ad Council, and Makers, an organization that is dedicated to advancing women in the workplace.
