Bradley Shairson joined Bank of Hawaii in May 2023. He ensures there is an appropriate enterprise risk framework in place to support the company’s strategy and business operations. Areas of direct oversight include Enterprise Risk Management and Operational Risk, Corporate Compliance, Market and Model Risk, Fiduciary Risk, Wholesale Credit and the Commercial Credit Group, Enterprise Credit Risk Analytics, and Consumer Collections and Recovery.

Mr. Shairson has more than 28 years of expertise having held several senior and executive leadership roles over risk, infrastructure and revenue generation. Areas of direct oversight have included Capital Markets, FX and derivatives, and lending areas such as leasing, asset finance, loan syndications and renewable energy during his career at Regions Bank, MUFG Union Bank/Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi, SunTrust, Deutsche Bank and Citibank. His diverse experience running complex businesses and managing risk, operations and technology infrastructures contributes to Bank of Hawaii’s continued efforts to strengthen its risk management framework. Mr. Shairson’s successful track record of leading teams on numerous strategic initiatives focused on improving business performance by leveraging technology and cross functional teams supports the bank’s customer experience, employee experience and operational excellence initiatives.
  
Mr. Shairson earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Florida. He is also a graduate of Executive Leadership programs at Regions Bank, Union Bank and Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi and serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Los Angeles.
