James C. Polk
James “Jim” Polk is Vice Chairman and Chief Banking Officer with oversight responsibilities for Commercial Banking, Wealth Management and Corporate Facilities. In addition, he is a member of the bank’s Executive Committee.
Mr. Polk has over 32 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held a variety of positions at the bank, including leadership roles in Commercial Banking Group, Retail Lending and Deposit Products, The Private Bank and Pacific Islands Division.
Mr. Polk currently serves as a board member for Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) and After School All Stars Hawaii and is a Trustee for Hawaii Pacific University.
Mr. Polk earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, as well as a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
