James C. Polk
James “Jim” Polk is Vice Chairman and Manager of Bank of Hawaii’s Trust Services Group and Bankoh Investment Services Inc. He is responsible for overseeing Trust Services, Bankoh Investment Services, Cash Management, Merchant Services and Corporate Facilities. In addition, he is a member of the bank’s Executive Committee.
Mr. Polk has over 32 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held a variety of positions at the bank, including leadership roles in Commercial Banking Group, Retail Lending and Deposit Products, The Private Bank and Pacific Islands Division.
Mr. Polk currently serves as a board member for Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) and After School All Stars Hawaii and is a Trustee for Hawaii Pacific University.
Mr. Polk earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, as well as a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
