Bank of Hawaii Corporation Announces Repurchase Authorization
HONOLULU--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 2003--Bank of Hawaii Corporation (NYSE:BOH) today announced an additional authorization to repurchase up to $200 million of its common stock. This authorization, combined with the Company's previously announced authorizations of $800 million, brings the total repurchase authority to $1.0 billion. From the beginning of the program in the third quarter of 2001 through September 26, 2003, the Company has repurchased a total of 28.1 million shares and returned a total of $787.1 million to the shareholders at an average cost of $28.00 per share. Including this additional authorization, remaining share buyback authority was $212.9 million at September 26, 2003.
